What we are
Roofer Sunshine Coast is a referral website. We connect home owners, landlords, body corporates and businesses on the Sunshine Coast with independent local roofing contractors for roof repairs, roof replacement and related work. We do not carry out roofing work ourselves; the contractor you are put in touch with quotes, contracts and does the job.
How it works
- You call 07 3132 2496 during business hours or send the form on any page.
- We take the details: location, roof type, approximate age of the building and what is wrong.
- We match the job with a local contractor who does that kind of work and arrange an inspection.
- The contractor inspects, takes photos and gives you a written quote.
- You decide whether to go ahead, with no obligation.
What we expect of the contractors
We ask the contractors we work with to hold the QBCC licence and insurance the job needs, to inspect before quoting, to put the scope in writing, and to explain honestly whether a roof needs repair or replacement. You should still check their licence on the QBCC register and ask for proof of insurance before work starts. Licence and insurance details are provided by the contractor whenever you ask.
What this website is for
The articles and guides on this site explain roofing in plain language for local conditions: humid summers, heavy storms, salt air near the beaches and the mix of housing found across the coast. They are general information, written to help you ask good questions and compare quotes fairly. They are not a substitute for an inspection of your roof.
What we do not claim
You will not find star ratings, project counts or testimonials on this site. Because the work is done by independent contractors, we only publish what we can stand behind. Ask the contractor who inspects your roof for examples of their own work and references.
