How these articles are written
Each article on this blog answers a question Sunshine Coast property owners ask before, during or after roof work. They are written for local conditions: summer storms that arrive fast and hard, humidity that settles in roof spaces, salt that drifts inland from the beaches, and a housing stock that runs from fibro beach houses to 1980s brick-and-tile homes to modern skillion designs.
They are general information rather than advice about your particular roof. Where rules apply, we name the body responsible, such as the QBCC, Workplace Health and Safety Queensland, Sunshine Coast Council or Noosa Shire Council, and suggest you check current requirements with them.
